us fix this bug. Please attach your X server configuration file
(/etc/X11/xorg.conf), ~/.xsession-errors, output of lspci -vvnn and X
server log file (/var/log/Xorg.0.log) to the bug report as individual
uncompressed file attachments using the "Attachment:" box below. Can you
try to turn off compiz (kill compiz), restart X and check whether you
get a proper GNOME desktop? If not, please attach the ~/.xsession-errors
and /var/log/Xorg.0.log from this attempt also. Thanks in advance.
