Public bug reported:

A week ago i installed eeexubuntu 7.10 on my brand new "asus eeepc 701" in a
kingston 4g mmc-sd card. The next day i installed compiz fussion and a few
utilities i cant remember. As it was natural the system hanged so i turned off
desktop effects. when i rebooted i could not login and after two reboots there
was noting in the card to boot. Then i booted in Xandros (the default eeepc os)
and i tried to manualy mount the card but nothing was in there... I tried an
fsck but the fs was broken...
I don't know much about programming nor about unix/linux. But is this normal in
a stable operating system? Hope 8.04 fixes things...

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
