Thanks for reporting. According to Bug #152416 this issue was fixed
after release of Hardy Alpha 6 so if you have tested only the Live CD it
is possible that your issue is already fixed. You can update the Intel
driver package on the LiveCD with the command "sudo apt-get update" and
then "sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-video-intel" and an X restart
with ctrl + alt + backspace.
