I'm not sure about the following change:
* bump version in dh_makeshlibs call to ">= 7.4-1ubuntu3"
but apart from that this should provide the functionality required for the grep
patch:
* Move libpcre3 to /lib (LP: #15051)
- debian/dirs: add "lib"
- debian/libpcre3.install, debian/libpcre3-udeb.install:
- Move libpcre3.so.* to /lib
- debian/rules:
- bump version in dh_makeshlibs call to ">= 7.4-1ubuntu3"
- include /lib in dh_shlibdeps call
- debian/libpcre3-dev.links:
- Create symlink in /usr/lib/libpcre.so to /lib/libpcre.so.3
Please subscribe ubuntu-release, if the patch is OK and a FeatureFreeze
exception is required for this. Thank you.
