Binary package hint: xmms-xf86audio
While xmms-xf86audio is nice, it doesn't give you much control over the
previous/next button, which are often overloaded on real audio players
to service the function of not only switching to the previous/next song
but to also rewind/fastfoward. This is a patch that offers that
functionality. Specifically:
Shift+Prev/Next will rewind/fastfoward in 10 second increments
Ctrl+Prev/Next will rewind/fastforward midway between the current position and
the beginning/ending of the current song
