to be precise: i did the installation of ubunto from dvd with the network cable unplugged. the skype install i did by clicking on the skype.com deb pkg. i uncommented then the deb lines commented in sources.list and hoped it will get it from the network and not from the dvd. but still it fails with the cd not available error message.
