Public bug reported:
I can't run the Alpha 5 or 6 live CDs' in normal or safe mode. After
language selection, I get to the progress loading bar and it stops at
about 10 to 15 percent.
CD Ckecksums are OK
Computer is IBM Thinkpad T42
CPU= Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.70 Ghz
Display= ATI MOBILITY RADEON 7500 AGP (0x4C57)
Memory= 768 MB
Both CDs boot and run fine on my Toshiba A75 with everything apparently
working.
Any ideas or advice is appreciated.
