Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager-gnome

I have to connect to a university WPA2 wireless network, and when I try
to connect for the first time NM misrecognizes the network type and asks
for private-type encyption (WEP, LEAP). I have to manually select
"Connect to other networks" then select the correct type (WPA2).

I hope it gets fixed, whether in NM 0.6.5 or directly in next version
(0.7); it can be quite confusing and annoying.

Using Ubuntu Gutsy
Dell Inspiron 6400, wireless driver: ipw3945
Network-Manager: 0.6.5.-0.ubuntu.16.7.10.0
Network-Manager-Gnome: 0.6.5.-0.ubuntu11~7.10.0

** Affects: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
