I'm unable to reproduce music from the share as you post, but if i play as
follows works fine:
rhythmbox-client --play-uri
"daap://192.168.0.6:3689/databases/1/items/1.mp3?session-id=1"
the session-id stuff probably has something to do with the fact i must
authenticate against my daap server in order to play the music, anyway
it works fine specifying the session-id extra parameter, could you
please check if doing this works for you as well?, you can obtain the
complete path including the session-id looking at the properties of the
song stream in rhythmbox.
