I strongly recommend not using an Edgy live CD for this purpose; other
programs almost certainly require features of the newer C library in
Hardy and will fail to work correctly or at all. If you do this and
manage to get the system to boot afterwards, you should upgrade to libc6
2.7-5ubuntu2 or 2.7-9ubuntu2 (NOT 2.7-9ubuntu1) from Hardy as soon as
possible.
