Also, what version of Ubuntu are you using? 7.10 (Gutsy)? 8.04 (Hardy,
development, not released)?
Did this always happen? If there was a time when it did not do you
remember anything related to email changing?
Also, what would help tremendously is if you could start Evolution from the
command line using this command:
CAMEL_DEBUG=all evolution >& evo.log
That will log all of the information related to email in evolution.
What that command says in laymans terms:
"Camel" is the name of the email part of evolution, and the variable
"CAMEL_DEBUG" is being set to everything ("all"). With that variable being
set, evolution is being started ("evolution") with any output being directed
(">&") to the file evo.log.
After you have reproduced the bug you can safely close evolution and
attach the "evo.log" file to this bug report.
