ok, after going through the wiki list, it looks like my heuristic to determine the number of transitioned/untransitioned packages couldn't have been worse. Looks like the vast majority of hardy packages is *not* yet transitioned.
Currently, I have quite some doubts about starting this big thing so late in the cycle, and I have the slight feeling that it might be better to undo any transitioned packages. However I'm also too tired now to think straight.
