I actually got it working for me, kind of.
I played a lot with hald and dbus ( sudo /etc/init.d/dbus restart etc.) and
managed to fuck up gnome. After restarting X the DVD actually mounted (I think
it was automatic). I had removed the /dev/scd0 line from fstab, so gnome
mounted it with the DVD-label DVD#1. When ejecting from gnome, and inserting
DVD#2 it still gets mounted as DVD#1, and not automatically. I have to access
it from nautilus, then it mounts fine (but with wrong label). There allso seems
not to be any lock on opening the dvd-bay manually, which I remember being
there.
I have needed to log out and back in again couple of times now, but seem
to get things working for a little bit again.
