Public bug reported:

Rather regularly (maybe anytime after I have used "sleep" mode on my laptop?),
my laptop hangs when shutting down (or rebooting) from Gutsy. It stops right
when the progress bar is finished and it looks like it's all done. I have to
power cycle it to reboot.
The next boot, the clock has been reset to 2001 which makes various things
incredibly upset.
I fix the clock using a tty login but the subsequent time I boot I have to wait
for 25 minutes while all my drives get fsck'd, since they appear to the system
not to have been checked since 2001.

I am running the latest update Gutsy on a Zareason Lightlap, ie Asus
S62E laptop.
