What I was trying to do:

I was trying to extract an audio stream from a .vob file (from a ripped DVD),
with the command
tcextract -i filename.vob -a 0 -x ac3 > filename.ac3
What was the result
-------------------------
The .ac3 file is unreadable and the attemp to multiplex it with the video
stream failed,
despite the same oparation, on the same file, produced a correct .ac3 file on a
"32bit" ubuntu 7.10 system.
