Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird
Thunderbird version is 1.5.0.14ubu (20080306). Ubuntu is 7.04.
Junk mail controls are enabled. Many messages (91) are marked *** POSSIBLE SPAM
***. Many others which are not marked as spam are obviously junk main and would
be normally handled as junk. Yet they remain in the inbox even after I say "run
junk mail controls on folder". Actually not a single message is being handled
as junk mail. In the Junk Mail controls screen "Do not mark message as junk if
in personal address book" is checked, "When I mark messages as junk delete
them" is checked. "Move incoming messages determined to be junk to junk
folder" is checked. "Enable adaptive junk mail detection" is checked.
And yet nothing is being moved to Junk.
I had reported this bug before but I thought it was limited to ubuntu 7.10.
After downgrading to 7.04 the problem is still there.
