OK - I wasn't aware that the intel driver is the default. I fired up the LiveCD, and was able to suspend/recover with no problems six, seven, 10 times in a row, I guess - looked great!
Now is there a way to use the hardy's intel driver on my gutsy system, or do I have to wait for hardy?
