HI Herve, I apologize if you felt I was jumping to conclusions here. I should have worded my question better . . .I'm trying to understand if you are still able to reproduce the ACPI oops on a regular basis. If so, per the kernel team's bug policy, can you please attach the following information. Please be sure to attach each file as a separate attachment.
* cat /proc/version_signature > version.log * dmesg > dmesg.log * sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log Also, it would be helpful to capture the full dmesg output which contains the Oops. For more information regarding the kernel team bug policy, please refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeamBugPolicies . I'm also curious if you've tested with booting using the "acpi=off" option as I'd imagine it would prevent the Oops from occurring. Thanks again and we appreciate your help and feedback. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- Bug in ACPI at startup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/202772 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
