This may have something to do with packages you have installed from
feisty-backports. I am confirming this for you. I did notice this your
logs - "2008-02-04 11:47:28,544 ERROR Dist-upgrade failed: 'E:Error,
pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held
packages.'"
