Public bug reported:
On a Kubuntu Hardy machine with all updates an error window pop up after
login. The window text is "Der Prozess für das Protokoll file wurde
unerwarted beendet." which translates to "Process for protocol file
aborted unexpectedly.". After clicking OK a second error window pops up
with the text "Der Prozess für das Protokoll media wurde unerwarted
beendet." which translates to "Process for protocol media aborted
unexpectedly.".
All icons on the desktop are missing. If I copy one of the previously
existing icons from the K-Menu to the desktop, a window asks if I want
to rename the file or overwrite the existing file. If I select
overwrite, all previously existing icons reappear.
