"Press Ctrl+Alt to grab the cursor" does not tell the user that it is
the solution to the keyboard problem. Yes, you do capture the cursor,
but it is not the "cursor" that is the issue, it is the keyboard, which
is fixed as a "side-effect." I don't have any special investment in the
text, but something like:

"Press Ctrl+Alt to attach the cursor and keyboard exclusively to the remote
(necessary to send some keystrokes)."
"Press Cltr+Alt to resume normal cursor and keyboard sharing."

might be clearer. And what is necessary to send Ctrl+Alt to the remote?
VMware uses a trick with Ctrl+Alt+Space to do it.
