Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
I have a System 76 Darter (original) laptop. I recently upgraded to
Hardy development (3/17/08) version and my hardware volume control
(up/down/mute) doesn't get recognized by default, or in
system->preferences->keyboard shortcuts. If I would guess, I would say
this would be a bug with gnome-control-center.
