Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. In order to help us track
down the cause of the problem could you please attach the logfiles from
/var/log/dist-upgrade. Could you also describe the steps you took when
the error occurred. Were you installing regular updates or were you
trying to upgrade from 7.10 to 8.04?
