I got this problem after upgrading, must've been a couple of days after alpha6. I've just recently managed to fix it: I did several things so I don't know precisely what fixed it:
1. I downloaded the daily alternative install CD for march 17, and installed updates (mounting the iso and running the cdromupgrade script). 2. I restarted my router. 3. I switched my wired network setting from DHCP (had been switching it around when trying to fix this problem) to roaming mode. 4. I ran "sudo ifup eth0" (eth0 being my wired network alias) >From this point I've had no more problems. Also, I should add, the network has been working just fine in my windows XP boot all through this, so it's probably not just that the router was off'd. -- No network connection possible after Hardy installation or upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/191745 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
