Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
I'm using a laptop and if I start using the synaptics touchpad
intensively the number of interrupts becomes very high:
29,4% (447,6) <interrupt> : PS/2 keyboard/mouse/touchpad
If I use in the same way an usb mouse:
7,0% (174,1) USB device 3-1 : USB Receiver (Logitech)
5,4% (132,7) <interrupt> : uhci_hcd:usb3
I'm not sure about the package, maybe it's a kernel problem.
Reducing the number of interrupts can improve battery life!
