Here are the logs you requested. There are five (5) attachments. My
computer is Dell Vostro 1000 laptop with Broadcom 1390 wireless.

My WiFi router is a linksys device (unknown model) with fair signal. I
believe that I am the only user, although someone else could connect.
There is no password. There is no other WiFi transmitter in the
vicinity.

Procedure:

(a) I boot to Windows Vista, connect to the WiFi, and use it.

(b) Using Grub, I re-boot to Ubuntu (HH alpha 6 amd64). The computer
does not turn off during re-boot. The WiFi light remains lit on my
laptop during re-boot. Note: Earlier, I erroneously indicated that the
light went off. When Ubuntu loads, the WiFi connects automatically and
is usable. Attachments: dmesg-PASS-robta.log, lspci-vvnn-PASS-robta.log,
version.log.

(c) I shutdown the computer. All lights turn off. I wait one minute. I
boot to Ubuntu. This time, Ubuntu is unable to connect to the WiFi.
Sometimes, the transmitter is recognized, but the laptop cannot connect.
On this occasion, the transmitter was NOT recognized. Attachments:
dmesg-FAIL-robta.log, lspci-vvnn-FAIL-robta.log

(d) I re-boot to Windows Vista, connect to WiFi and use it, then re-boot
to Ubuntu without shutting down the laptop. Once again, the WiFi
automatically connects in Ubuntu.
