Binary package hint: audacity
Using an up-to-date Hardy install.
Steps to reproduce:
1) open audacity
2) click the record button and record a track.
3) press stop (or press Ctrl+Shift+N to open new track)
4) press record
The following error is displayed:
"Error while opening sound device. Please check the input device settings and
the project sample rate."
Note that it works fine to record a track, press stop, open a new _file_
and press record.
