Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-device-manager
The tool gnome-device-manager doesn't seem to be installed by default under Hardy, even though in Gutsy it was. I think the tool should be installed in Hardy by default because it proves to be a very useful debugging tool for hardware functionality, especially for less experience users who are not comfortable with using terminal commands to debug hardware functionality. It was very practical to have this tool in Gutsy to have a quick glance to see how certain hardware was detected to see if there maybe something went wrong in case of problems. ** Affects: gnome-device-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Hardy: gnome-device-manager not installed by default https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/203896 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
