These are certainly not random issues. They all occured at the same time after
I tried to install a set of themes/icons/cursors that worked fine under Gutsy.
If you'd like links to all of them, I'll be happy to provide them, but I do
think you should have a look at these issues which all popped up at the same
time.
So to make sure I'm not misunderstood: these are all "symptoms" of probably one
and the same issue.
Hence I'm reactivating my bug report, awaiting another response to look into
this issue.
