Hi. Similar to the Brasero bug report, I only looked at the source code
package, not the installed .desktop file and jumped into conclusion. For
some reason this menu item is not translatable, maybe because the
.desktop file in the source files is missing from POTFILES and that the
.desktop files lack "_" in front of the Name and Comment rows. I'm not
an expert in these issues, but the end result is anyway untranslatable
menu item showing in default Ubuntu installation.

Changing description accordingly.

** Summary changed:

- Does not use X-Ubuntu-Gettext-Domain so .desktop files not translated
+ Menu item not translatable

** Description changed:

- Every main application with a .desktop file or files should use X
- -Ubuntu-Gettext-Domain to make .desktop items translatable like the rest
- of the menu items. Please add it for hardy.
+ Installed nm-editor.desktop has X-Ubuntu-Gettext-Domain, but the menu
+ item is not translatable, resulting in non-translated menu item(s) in
+ default Ubuntu installation. Possibly source code packages needs to add
+ "_":s into the .desktop files' Name and Comment fields and add the
+ .desktop files (both nm-applet and nm-editor) to POTFILES.

** Changed in: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu)
       Status: Incomplete => New
