Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: wpasupplicant

I have done a clean install of Hardy Alpha 6 and the wireless does not
work on my laptop. LED indicator on the front of laptop shows off when
switch is set to on. nm-applet does not show any wireless networks to
connect too. I have enabled the Restricted driver for my Broadcom via
the Hardware Drivers interface. This was all working on Gusty 7.10.

My laptop is an HP dv2125nr, the network chipset is Broadcom BCM94311MCG
which is both wired/wireless. I am not sure if this is related to nm-
applet or the wpasupplicant package, as I can not detect non-hidden open
wireless networks (no WPA or WEP enabled). It almost seems that it is
not handling the drivers correctly for the wireless, wired works fine.

Attached to this post is the daemon.log, I will also attach the
syslog.log as well.
