Same problem with intel 3945abg on my new laptop, Samsung Q70, bios S11 and now bios S12 :( I can't turn on/off wifi adapter with key [Fn]+[F9] :'( ...both with Ubuntu Gutsy 7.10 (kernel 2.6.22-14 and ipw3945 driver) and Debian Testing (Lenny, iwl3945 driver, kernel 2.6.22-3 and 2.6.24-1)
