Public bug reported:
Since the current version in Ubuntu (2.4.4), upstream has released two
versions, 2.5.0 and 2.5.1. Addition of the new version in Hardy is
important for two reasons:
1. It contains bug fixes that it is not feasible to extract and add to
the current package.
2. It updates the policy component to match the current IETF design
(still a work in progress). The policy implementation in 2.4.4 is
completely obsolete due to name changes in the IETF working group.
I'm comfortable with uploading 2.5.1 because it addresses the known
regressions associated with the 2.5.0 release (which I did not ask for
an FFe for due to regressions) and contains some additional bug fixes.
I'm currently running the draft package for 2.5.1 on my test server
without issue.
