Public bug reported:
Kubuntu Hardy Alpha 6 installed on Compaq V5204NR laptop.
Regardless of what level the volume is set at on the mixer ,both the
startup and shutdown sound volumes are blasting at full volume. Nothin I
do seems to effect the volume of these two sounds, making it very
annoying if you are either wearing headphones or using the computer in a
quiet location like a library or at school.
I have no files or data to add to this, but i', sure anyone can
duplicate it. If it matter, the audio in Intel/Conexant HDA.
