Haha! I'd kind of assumed that you had a desktop machine, I don't know why...
Well I checked in the kernel's bugtracker( bugzilla.kernel.org ) and couldn't find any bugs there about this driver and resuming at all (and only one about this driver) so it's probably something that ought to get sent upstream. First we need to see if it's an issue in the kernel's upstream latest version. You can do that by following the instructions at this wiki page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/GitKernelBuild While you're doing that, I've confirmed this bug, added a default importance level, and assigned to the Ubuntu Kernel Team, the people who actually know how to work with the issue. Thanks for being so cooperative! ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium Assignee: (unassigned) => Ubuntu Kernel Team (ubuntu-kernel-team) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- natsemi dp8381x ethernet driver fails when resuming from hibernate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/151602 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
