Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-12-generic
Upgrade from 7.10 to 8.04 and a working 3945ABG wireless card stops
working. Network manager shows 3 wired interfaces instead of 1 wired and
1 wireless.

eth1(?)
wlan0_renamed.
Removing the following line from /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-
net.rules and rebooting fixes the problem

SUBSYSTEM=="net", DRIVERS=="?*", ATTRS{address}=="00:1b:77:c0:4c:f3",
