Yes this is from a clean (blank) Hardy beta install. There is something weird going on.
This is on Folders only. First thing I did, was the "Open with other app" on one of my audio folders. I selected audacious, audacious opened, all right. Now the "Open with audacious" was not showing up in Nautilus' context menu. Reboots and all, still not showing, I had to use "open with other app" menu every time. Now per your suggestion above, I tried adding a second app: VLC. Did the "Open with other app" on my folder and selected VLC. VLC opened. Again, the "Open with VLC" has NOT been added to nautilus context menu for folders. BUT now Audacious shows up!! What I also notice is that if I right click on a folder and do "Properties", then "Open With", I can see both Audacious and VLC listed. However only audacious shows up in the context menu.
