Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 8.04 beta, Simplified Chinese.
I installed "Gnome Subtitles" from "Add/Remove Application",then I run it. I
can see the main windows. I click ”Open" buttion and select a str file.
it appear a dialog,message:"Could not open the file
/home/myname/strfile.srt.The specified file is invalid."
the str can load and display in Smplayer.
So I can the encoding to utf-8 (was GBK), or open an English subtitles str
file, or a simple filename, I have the same problem.
If I click "New" buttion, Gnome Subtitles close without leaving any message.
