Public bug reported:
I'm having troubles with my wired ethernet connection.
The IP address should be assigned by the DHCP server on the router
(netgear dg834g) but this doesn't work.
The connection cannot be established regardless of the option I select
on the router or computer. I've tried to use the select any of the
options available using the manual configuration but I'm still unable to
connect and every time I need to reboot the router while logged in
Ubuntu to reset the connection.
I've tried roaming, static IP (with all the correct parameters), dhcp
or zeroconf.
