Public bug reported:
Since january the propietary drivers of the Nvidia 8600 GT where working
properly, now they appear in the propietary drivers manager but when they' re
selected, after rebooting they doesnt work and X starts in the recovery mode.
This started a couple of weeks ago after an update, i reinstalled Hardy a
couple of times and the problem is there every time i update, im installing
from the Alpha 3 of hardy
I also tried to install the drivers trough Envy NG but the result is the same,
doesnt work.
Im using ubuntu hardy in a Dell inspiron 1720
