I'm not able to boot kernel-2.6.24.12-generic. 2.6.24.12-386 and 2.6.22.14 boot without problem. The error-msg is the same as in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux- source-2.6.20/+bug/107795: " Check root= bootarg cat /proc/cmdline or missing modules, devices: (...) ... ALERT /dev/disk/by/uuid/(...) does not exist. Dropping to a shell!" I saved the output of uname -a and dmesg in the busybox shell but they are somehow gone after booting the 386 kernel.
