Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.24
My laptop, Averatec 2150 (similar to MSI 1013) is unable to hibernate in
hardy alphas/beta. I have tried using both the gnome-panel button as
well as directly forcing acpi scripts.
This is a regression - I am able to hibernate in feisty.
It is a clean install and I do not have any restricted modules enabled.
No desktop effects/compiz as well.

Let me know if you need any more information. I would really like
suspend/hibernate to work in hardy so that I can move to the newer
release.
