Public bug reported:
I tried to install Ubuntu 8.04 BETA on my Notebook LG LE50 Express.
First the system reported this error message
"MP-BIOS bug: 8254 timer not connected to IO-APIC"
Afterwards the X-Server failed and the machine got frozen.
The same issue I already expirienced with Ubuntu 7.10. A full report can

It seems that there remains a bug from older Ubuntu versions.
