I can confirm this "bug". It only happens after a reconnect with
"/quit".
After this the first tab (server i.e. irc.freenode.org) stays gray and displays
nothing. The connection is established, and after a while all channels are
entered.
After clicking on one channel-tab also the server-tab shows the connection.
