Public bug reported:

I have uim-gtk2.0 1:1.0.0-1ubuntu1 and uim 1:1.0.0-1ubuntu1 installed.
I recently did a gnome upgrade on my Edgy system, and found out that uim
no longer worked. Upon investigation it seemed as though the uim files
were installed in /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0/immodules, which for some
reason were not being detected by gtk-query-immodules-2.0. That said, I
copied the files in that directory to 2.10.0/immodules and it worked
just fine.

That said, either an update needs to occur, or gtk-query-immodules-2.0
needs to be fixed to see that particular directory.

** Affects: uim (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
