Sorry, I have been studying now in English, and my grammar is rather bad :-).
So, I have the same problem. If I download the same file with wget, the md5sums are always different :-), very funny, hah :-). With Ubuntu 7.04 and Windows Vista Business works the system perfectly. With Ubuntu 7.10 and 8.04 have this problem. I have AMD Athlon 64 X2 with Asus M2N-E motherboard, 2 piece of 512MB goodram module + 2 piece of 1G kingstone module, 7600 GT VGA and Broadcom AirForce One chipset wifi (Asus). I flashed the brand new BIOS to the motherboard, but didn't help it. I disabled the AMD Live, AMD Virtualization, AMD Cool 'N Quiet technology, but the same... I removed the two kingstone module, and the wget works perfect... I removed the two goodram module, and the wget works almost perfect... The memory are checked with memtest86, I don't know maybe Dual-Channel problem? -- Error when upgrading from Ubuntu 7.04 to 7.10 using Update Manager https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/204958 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
