I still have the same problem as well. I was a bit quick in serving "the
workaround", but what I can tell is that for some reason Wireshark runs,
lets say 5 out of 7 times without halting when I start it from terminal
with "sudo wireshark" ... don't ask why .. puzzels me to. I'm as we
speak up-to-date with ubuntu Hardy, Wireshark 0.99.7 (Running on Linux
2.6.24-12-generic, with libpcap version 0.9.8.)
