Binary package hint: konqueror
Hello friends,
I have a strange problem with Kubuntu-Konqueror. I did a fresh install of
Kubuntu gutsy in my A31 laptop and configured the wireless network card. I
got the dhcp IP and I am able to browse the network and see my other PCs and
samba mounts. I am even able to login to my yahoo messenger perfectly. But when
I try to launch konqueror and try to browse internet, it won't open any pages.
from the terminal window I can ping to google.com but no browse. I tried
several other websites and none worked. The same laptop with another harddisk
loaded with ubuntu 7.10 and firefox/opera everything works fine.
Did any one face this issue? do I have to do anything after fresh install?
Any help will be appreciated, I am dying to make this work.
