Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed
in the latest development version of Ubuntu - the Hardy Heron.
This is a knwon problem, it could be solved by using the kicker-compiz
and kicker-taskbar-compiz package as kicker-applets, while using compiz.
There are packages for hardy heron and in the backports for gutsy gibbon
