Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: splashy
If I run splashy with ENABLE_INITRAMFS=1 in /etc/default/splashy, and
update-initramfs ran, on boot I just get a black screen after grub and
then a reboot. Works fine if not placed in initramfs, or if not
installed at all. I've removed usplash and I'm using a config which ran
perfectly in gutsy. I tried to see if the gutsy package worked, but
directfb has been updated so I couldn't. Any ideas? I'm pretty sure it
crashes before anything is logged, but I'm happy to go digging if
there's anything which could help.
